Empowered Minds Collective
The Empowered Minds Collective was founded by This Student Needs and Present Pal to help students on their DSA journey and to get the support they deserve. The Empowered Minds Collective is a group of students who empower and inspire each other by sharing their own experiences and raising awareness about support that is available. Same as This Student Needs and Present Pal, the Empowered Minds Collective believe that diversity and inclusivity are key to unlocking the full potential of each individual and they strive to create a space where everyone can thrive.

I enjoy being a TSN Ambassador because we have the ability to reach out to students across the country and share our experiences with them that we otherwise couldn't. It allows us to reach out to a whole new side of the student body.

Maia
I love being an Ambassador for TSN because it’s social justice through advertised digital collaboration, we create equity for students with additional learning needs by directing them to ✨free✨ resources, technology and information to improve their learning experience.

I love the fact we can spread the message about DSA and students with disabilities can still access higher education with appropriate adjustments. Without DSA and some of the technology (including PresentPal), I would find university very difficult. Students shouldn’t have to be at a disadvantage due to disabilities. The process of applying for DSA may be daunting, but with the help of the DSA guide, it prepares you for what to expect
This Student Needs and Present Pal were created with diversity and inclusivity in mind, the same values that the Empowered Minds Collective champions.
